The Bush House
The Bush House is an old farmhouse that has been transformed into an inviting and relaxing residence.
This well-run owner managed lodge is set in the malaria free Madikwe Game Reserve.
A unique and exciting feature of the Bush House is “The Hide”:
An underground hide that borders the very edge of the most active waterhole; elephants often walk right past the hide! It is accessed from a path within the lodge garden or the swimming pool and available 24hours.
The Bush House has six en-suite rooms. Four of them have private verandas, one overlooks the garden and waterhole and another has the soothing sounds of a water feature outside the sliding door. All of the rooms are part of the main lodge.
The thrill of observing wildlife at the waterhole just meters from the front lawn, exciting game drives followed by lounging at the pool under trees in the large shaded garden, sumptuous bushveld cuisine under the stars of the spectacular southern night sky – what more could you possibly want?
