Imbabala
A small unpretentious safari camp on the banks of the Zambezi, 80 km west of Victoria Falls.
This family business is run by the son of the founder and is situated in the corner of Zimbabwe where 4 countries meet: Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia and Botswana.
The main lodge is a charming thatched structure with fantastic views of both the nearby river and waterhole. In front of it a swimming pool and al fresco eating area are nestled under ancient trees.
Each of the stone and thatch guest lodges has an en-suite bathroom, spacious veranda with a comfortable hammock for those lazy afternoons and sweeping views over the Zambezi River.
There are no fences so expect to see game and birdlife along the riverbank and in and around the lodge.
