Cape Town’s beaches and hotels & lodges nearby

Cape Town’s white beaches can be split in 3 regions:

Atlantic Seaboard

These beaches are situated on the west side of the Cape peninsula and face the wonderful sunsets.
The most beautiful ones amongst them are the 4 magnificent trendy Clifton beaches, the popular Camps Bay beach, Llandudno beach near Hout Bay and nestled in between big boulders and the very long and broad Noordhoek beach.
False Bay

Along the rocky east coast line of the Cape peninsula are many nice beaches including Boulder’s beach, a beach between several granite boulders that hosts a colony of African penguins and the surfer hotspot Muizenberg.

The sea temperatures are a bit warmer than in the other two areas where the Atlantic is always cool to cold.

Milnerton & Bloubergstrand
The long sandy beaches in the north of the city are very popular for surfing and kite surfing and offer the perfect “classical” view of Table Mountain.
