Arathusa Safari Lodge – at the water’s edge – flanks a large waterhole within the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve, which is adjacent to the unfenced Kruger National Park.
The waterhole features resident hippos and attracts a large number of other game that come here to drink.
Arathusa offers 9 thatched standard and 4 luxury rooms; some of the standard rooms even overlook the waterhole.
Each room has air-conditioning and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower – as well as an outdoor shower!
The exclusive luxury rooms are located further from the main camp to ensure utmost privacy and feature own plunge pools and lounge areas.
Guests can enjoy a swimming pool that overlooks the waterhole. Dining in the evening often takes places alfresco in the traditional open-air boma accompanied by the sounds of the African bush.
Arathusa also features a safari spa with the treatment room overlooking the camp’s waterhole and the beautiful African bushveld.
