Established in 1904 and recently redecorated, this traditional colonial style hotel known as the “grand old lady of the falls” has seen many statesmen, celebrities and members of royal families passing through its doors.
The hotel with its grand Edwardian architecture is set in tropical gardens and is only a 10 minutes walk away from the Victoria Falls Rainforest. The rooms combine old-fashioned traditional elegance with warm décor while offering all modern commodities like air-conditioning or digital satellite television.

High Tea is served every afternoon on Stanley’s terrace with views of the Victoria Falls Bridge and Falls. While the décor throughout the hotel reflect grandeur and old-world charm, the dress code is no longer as rigid: jacket and tie for gentlemen is no longer essential for dinner.
The hotel features a splendid large colonial swimming pool in the landscaped gardens and massages are available in the airy gazebos around the pool or in the gardens.
