Tailor-made tours and safaris to Tanzania
We plan and book your dream holiday based on your budget and individual needs and wishes.
About Tanzania
Tanzania is the best combination of beach and bush.
On the mainland you find some of Africa’s most known National Parks and Game Reserves: in the north the famous Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro crater and in the south the vast Selous Game Reserve, one of the largest in the world, and the remote, wild Ruaha National Park.
Tanzania also has wonderful long beaches with soft white sand and clear turquoise water. The coral reefs with its many tropical fish are a real paradise for snorkelers and divers. The Zanzibar archipelago consists of three main islands: Unguja, often referred to as Zanzibar, Pemba and Mafia. A lot of spices are grown on the islands and one can go on interesting spice tours. Stonetown is the main city on Zanzibar, an old town full of atmosphere and a UNESCO world heritage center.
Numerous flights connect the safari with the beach destinations.
In the “northern circuit” you typically drive from one park to the next in your own safari vehicle with your own guide/driver and you stay in different lodges and in different parks. The southern parks on the other hand are typically fly-in safaris. Regular scheduled small aircrafts fly you to a camp and once you are there you will be guided with their safari vehicle or motorboat around the park.
We work together with all the main operators and lodges to plan an optimal safari experience that best suits you and your needs.
Seasons and climate
Generally rainy season is from March to June. Dry season is from June to October. November and December bring again some rains, but normally less and lighter than in the rainy season and January/February are dry again.
The migration is best seen in the Serengeti from August to October in the north when masses of animals cross the Mara river or January and February in the south when they give birth to their young ones.
