Cape Winelands
The Cape Winelands is the idyllic countryside in the northeast of Cape Town in which most of South Africa’s wines are produced.
The region includes the lovely small town of Stellenbosch with its grand Cape Dutch architecture and famous university, the romantic mountain framed Franschhoek valley, the farming community towns of Paarl and Wellington and the broad and fertile Breede river valley.
The Winelands feature lovely landscapes with soft hills and rugged mountains, many wineries with long tradition that welcome guests for tastings, many fine and award winning restaurants in the countryside and cozy comfortable lodges that invite you to relax and unwind.
